chapter two, the wedding

We drove across golden field's of hay, and corn. We drove by piles of pumpkins that were being sold at drug stores. I watched one man pick a pumpkin as big as his daughter's little body. I sighed. I loved how the leaves change at this time of year, and I love to watch the little girls squeal when they saw the perfect pumpkin gleam and shimmer in the sun.
"Mom, did Lilac want to have a wedding so far away from home? Is it just because she hates it when I invent my "football giant" friends over?" Ricky joked. Cami slapped him on his cheek. ( she probably learned that from me.)
"Of course not silly," Cami said trying to be mom like. "She just wants us to go there so we can eat and Mr. lorly is waiting too." Mr. lordly was Lilac cat, unfortunately, it, well it died in a  laundry accident. While those three  blabbered about something I watched the mountains.a dark shape appeared. A figure stood on a small hill staring at our car, or was it looking at me? The sun blinded, and I squinted harder, but it was gone. I tried to guess what it was, but nothing came to me
